Friday, January 6, 2017 HNY 2017...Third Time's A Charm!Howdy! Well it's been almost yet ANOTHER year since I posted my thoughts on BraunsBlog. My 2017 resolution is for that to change and resume regular blogging. 2016 passed in a frenzy and I can't say I'm not glad it is over! Lots of Change, Chaos, and Opportunities. In the last quarter of 2016 I got the opportunity to get fully immersed in all things HIPAA and HIPAA Compliance in a ninety day force feed. Not hard really, you just have to learn the lingo and the control requirements. 2017 is going to be a banner year for HIPAA enforcement and fines. Professional background and certifications include Aviation Management, Education, Systems Management, Information Security and Process, Standards and Quality Management. Always delivered with a strong focus on ITIL and similar Process Improvement Frameworks such as LEAN, SixSigma and TQM (Thank you Mr. Deming!).
